FUN
Having fun is the whole point, isn't it? Even though music is a "serious" pursuit, raises your IQ and builds character traits like dedication, patience and perseverance, it still needs to be fun.  As a school we never lose sight of the real reason people want play music.  Our approach at Cascade School of Music, is to keep music fun, social and engaging, as well as to nurture well-rounded musicians.

ENGAGING
For someone to stick with music, they have to feel two things: Joy and Purpose. We try to make the learning experience fun and interesting, but students feel motivated when there is a clear path they can travel.  That's why we've developed the musician's path, an innovative program that takes young musicians and leads them through various levels of music mastery, until they become full fledged musician.

SOCIAL
Most of us don't enjoy playing music in a vacuum.  Some of the best musical experiences are social ones: playing in a band, performing in a group concert, and making musician friends.  Our school is more than a school--We're a community. We teach, we jam, we share. And it's that social aspect that makes music come alive for our students.
