Tuition Assistance Programs at the Cascade Community School of Music is an important part of our mission of accessibility for all earnest students. Businesses, organizations and individuals have entrusted CCSM with funds to make this possible, and we are proud to offer it to you. Please consider carefully the amount of your request. Funds are limited. We expect exemplary effort and behavior on the part of student recipients.

Tuition Assistance For Youth Classes: Initial requests are granted on an as-needed basis: we ask that you determine how much assistance you need. Subsequent requests use the student's effort and contribution to the class as a criterion for our decision. Your teacher's approval is required for continued assistance.

Please complete the application and return it to the school as soon as possible. Maximum grant amount is $40 less than the total price of the class; for example, if the class tuition is $95, the maximum amount granted will be $55. Please enclose the balance of the tuition with this application; applications without payment will not be processed.

Tuition Assistance for Youth Individual Lessons Tuition assistance for individual lessons is available for students enrolled on the Musician's Path only, and is awarded when funds are available. Significant evidence of intent and an interview with the Director are required. Please complete the Tuition Assistance form and submit; we'll contact you to set up an interview.

Tuition Assistance for Adult Classes Tuition assistance requests for adults are granted when there is sufficient enrollment in the class to ensure it's viability. Often we cannot determine viability until just before the class is scheduled to begin. The office will contact you as soon as enrollment passes the threshold. Tuition assistance for individual lessons for adults is not available at this time.

Please enclose the balance of the tuition with this application; applications without payment will not be processed.
