Emphasis is placed on tone development, phrasing, and sight-reading to strengthen personal skills and insight the self-confidence and excitement she feels about musical expression and sharing it with others—although she will always say that her number one goal in creating music is to have fun, because otherwise, what’s the point?! When she isn’t playing clarinet, she can often be found working on a knitting project, painting watercolor, riding her bicycle around town and enjoying the outdoors of beautiful Central Oregon.
